With over 1000 pesticides currently available for use and increased regulation by many governments, there is increased demand for the detection and identification of large panels of compounds across multiple compound classes. Our easy-to-adopt system solution helps you meet or exceed new and emerging regulatory requirements for pesticide residue analysis.
Screen, identify, and quantify hundreds of pesticides in a single analysis
The AB SCIEX Food and Beverage Solution for Pesticide Residue Analysis is optimized to screen for, identify, and quantify hundreds of pesticides in a single analysis, with better compound coverage and less sample preparation than GC/MS.
Screen, quantify, and identify hundreds of pesticides in a single analysis with the 3200 QTRAP® System.
Automatically perform MRM ratio calculation and library searches with the simple, four-step Cliquid® Software workflow.
Speed up methods development with standard iMethodTM Tests for:
Carbamates
Phenyl urea
Triazines
Organophosphorus
Acidic pesticides
Access the iMethodTM Test MRM catalog of over 540 pesticides.
Identify compounds with confidence using the comprehensive 600 compound LC/MS/MS pesticide identification library
Screen large panels of compounds across different compound classes: With QTRAP® technology you can screen, identify, and quantify hundreds of pesticides in a single analysis via library search and automated MRM ratio calculation.

Identify, and quantitate hundreds of analytes in a single run
Enable high-sensitivity full-scan MS, MS/MS, and MS3
One combination of offerings to help you analyze pesticides is below:
Instruments
4000 QTRAP® LC/MS/MS System: This is our premier Hybrid Triple Quadrupole/Linear Ion trap mass spectrometer. Ideal for drug discovery and development, metabolite identification, contaminant testing, and proteomic applications including post-translationally modified proteins discovery, protein identification, and biomarker validation.
Software
Cliquid® 3.0 Software: Cliquid® 3.0 Software for Routine Screening and Quantitation is designed to work in conjunction with Analyst® Software Version 1.5.1 to provide a simple four step workflow for routine analysis by LC/MS/MS. The software can be used with any AB SCIEX QTRAP® or triple quadrupole LC/MS/MS. While Cliquid® 3.0 Software itself does not include any pre-configured tests, a number of pre-configured iMethodTM Tests, including libraries and MRM catalogues, are available for Food, Environmental, Forensic and Clinical Research analysis.
MultiQuantTM Software: MultiQuantTM Software is a powerful and easy-to-use quantitation package that processes MRM data for quantitative information. The software enables you to process many analytes and samples at the same time, with an emphasis on the requirements for processing protein/peptide quantitative workflows.
iMethods
iMethodTM Test for Pesticide Screening Version 2.0 for Cliquid® Software: The AB SCIEX iMethodTM Test for pesticide screening consists of a pre-configured method to screen for 494 pesticides, individual quantitation methods for carbamate, phenyl urea, triazine, organophosphorus, and acidic pesticides plus three additional quantitation methods for 150 pesticides grouped according to the Japanese Positive List regulatory requirements. Included with this method is a Phenomenex Synergi 4u Fusion-RP 80A 50x2mm HPLC Column (for carbamates, and triazines) and a Phenomenex Synergi 2.5 µm Fusion 100 Å, 50 x 2 mm HPLC column for the pesticide screening method.
iMethodTM Pesticide LC/MS/MS Library Version 1.0 for Cliquid® Software: The AB SCIEX Pesticide LC/MS/MS Library contains an MRM catalogue and spectral library which both provide information on the most common 636 pesticides and their metabolites that are required to be monitored in vegetables or other food products
Partner-Contributed iMethodTM Test for Carbamates for Cliquid® Software: This partner-contributed test is for the analysis of seven Carbamates and their internal standards in beverage samples.
