Mass Spectrometry Solutions in Food Testing

Key Facts

Web based live presentation

Price: Free

This webinar will focus on the mass spectrometric approaches that can be successfully used in food testing analysis.

Overview:
Food producers, importers, and regulators must continuously stay alert to the potential of finding various contaminants in food products and ingredients. As an example of this, concerns have emerged in early 2012 surrounding contaminated orange juice imported into the United States, with juice samples testing positive for the fungicide carbendazim. LC-MS/MS provides testing laboratories the capability to identify and quantify contaminants in food samples immediately to protect consumers from emerging contaminants of concern.
