MarkerViewTM Software, a powerful program designed for metabolomics and protein/peptide biomarker profiling applications, allows you to rapidly and easily review data acquired on all AB SCIEX mass spectrometers to determine up- and down-regulation of endogenous compounds in complex samples.

  • Powerful analytical tools enable you to easily mine data resulting from both classified and non-classified workflows.
  • Interactive visual tools help you exclude samples and variables, such as xenobiotic metabolites, before further analysis.
  • Post-analysis reports allow you to easily track your work and record potential biomarkers.
  • Compatible with both MALDI and ESI-based platforms from AB SCIEX means you can use the system that best fits your needs.

Powerful Statistical Analysis Tools:  With MarkerView software you can process data acquired from non-classified workflows using Principal Components Analysis (PCA) or Principal Component Analysis-Discriminant Analysis (PCA-DA). This method compares data across multiple samples, reveals groupings among the data sets, and graphically shows the groupings in a Scores plot. The Loadings plot provides you with valuable insight into variables that lead to sample clustering and illustrates which metabolites or biomarkers are up- or down-regulated. Principal Component Variable Grouping helps to discover relationships between peaks. Peaks that are related to one another are assigned to specific groups, either manually or automatically. These groups are then shown in different colors on the loadings plot. The t-test analysis technique is useful when two or more predetermined classes of samples are present and can help determine which compounds lead to the significant differences between the classes.

Information-Rich Reports:  MarkerView software allows you to see the traditional Scores and Loadings plots generated from PCA and PCA-DA and generate profile plots to confirm the behavior of selected variables across all samples. Profiles can link directly to mass spectra and chromatographic data, providing you with a simple way to review multiple data files simultaneously and confirm correlations. During data review, MarkerView software lets you create a list of potential biomarkers that can be annotated and used to generate a custom report based on criteria you specify.
